Hi, I’m Jeni and welcome to my blog, Stitched in Manchester.
I come from a very crafty family filled with wonderful women and men who have all felt the immense satisfaction of creating something by hand. I am often joined in my craft room by my husband and there is always a cat snuggling somewhere, usually right on top of what I’m making!
I’m a multi-crafter, my three favourites being sewing, crochet and cross-stitch. I tend to work my way through my crafty passions in phases; one minute I’m sewing and can never imagine doing anything else and the next thing I have a ball of yarn and a crochet hook in my hands.
I decided to start this blog as a way of documenting my projects and their creation process – even the mistakes! If you’re reading this, then chances are you’re a crafter too and probably understand that the process of creating ‘the thing’ can often be even more enjoyable than using ‘the thing’ once it’s made – plus it’s great to have a nosey at what other people are making isn’t it!
